What is a family VBS?
Family VBS is where children and their grown-ups participate in the activities and learn together.
May I drop off my children and leave?
No. The experience is designed to be done together as a family.
What ages may attend?
Because children will be supervised by their guardians there isn’t an age limit. You may bring your whole family.
Do I have to register ahead of time?
YES! We need to have a headcount to have enough food and supplies. Registration deadline is July 25!
What’s for dinner?
Yummy children’s favorites like chicken nuggets, hot dogs, pasta, and pizza.
Who is hosting?
The churches of Linthicum Heights United Methodist, St John Lutheran, and Ferndale United Methodist
are pairing up to bring you a fabulous, fun VBS experience.
Where is it being held?
The evening will begin in the fellowship hall of St John Lutheran Church with dinner and the opening ceremonies. We will then all go together to the field across the street to rotate through the activity stations.

We understand that not all families look the same, we use the term loosely.
Grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends; any adult may participate with the children.
ReNew is an environmentally-focused VBS program that
inspires kids and adults to grow in faith, have fun, and
change the world as they practice stewardship of creation!
At ReNew: The Green VBS™ families will:
• Explore God’s Word through Jesus’ Parable of the Sower.
• Learn about God’s creation and what we can do to care for it.
• Make new friends and have a great time!
