Virtual Choir Starts Here!

This will be the place to find things for the next several weeks.
Remember, this is a journey that we’re all on together! As we learn what works well, and what doesn’t, we’ll make updates to how things get done. At the end of the day, it’s all about making a joyful noise and giving glory to God!

What is Virtual Choir?

It’s a way for us to sing and make music together, when we are unable to be in the same physical space at the same time. You’ll be provided with PDF copies of sheet music, the same way you would receive paper copies during a normal choir rehearsal. You’ll also have access to piano recordings of the music, which you can listen to and sing along with as much as you want. In some ways, it’s better than live choir, since you’ll have 24/7 access to your own private accompanist, instead of just one hour a week in rehearsal.
Once you’ve had a chance to become familiar with the song, you’ll record yourself singing, while listening to the piano track. Step-by-step instructions for recording are provided in the link below, along with instructions for how to send in your recordings, so they can be compiled with the rest of the choir.
